What order do most one-day trips visit these three places in? #
The most common one-day loop departs the harbor early (often before sunrise for Padar specifically, since the light and cooler hiking temperature are best then), climbs Padar first while energy levels are highest, then continues to either Rinca (for the Komodo dragon trek) or Komodo Island’s Pink Beach for snorkeling, depending on which combination the operator runs that day. Doing the physically demanding Padar climb early and saving swimming/snorkeling for later in the day is the pattern nearly every operator defaults to, for good reason — you don’t want to hike 800 steps in full midday heat after already swimming.
